Tiffany + Ben’s Marton Wedding - 5 December 2015

Tiffany phoned me one morning in July and said, ‘you are coming to meet my neighbour and friend this morning to talk about photographing her wedding, can you come and meet with me and Ben too?’ And our little journey together started there. I went to their house in Marton, Ben, a policeman, had been working the night shift so I felt bad that he had to get up to meet with me but I was so happy they chose me to photograph their wedding because they’re such a lovely down to earth couple.

They planned their ceremony and reception at Ben’s family farm, Tataramoa with a marquee and everything largely done themselves or their family and friends. Tiffany took me there to have a look around and I could see why it was going to be a beautiful setting with lovely gardens that Ben’s parents had worked hard to create and would be a stunning backdrop for their ceremony. The marquee was a bit further over near the woolshed (the ceremony rain option) and beautifully decorated with a gorgeous rustic look.

After getting ready the girls and I, along with Tiffany’s Dad headed to a nearby Reserve for a few photo’s before leaving for the ceremony. It was really windy! We made our way along the stunning tree lined driveway to the farm where we could see everyone waiting. Thankfully the ceremony area was nice and sheltered from the wind. Their lovely celebrant Angela Wilson led us through the ceremony and they were married!

We headed to the driveway for some photo’s with their bridal party and then to the woolshed. I left them soon after to enjoy their lovely dinner prepared by their family and friends and to dance the night away in the marquee.

A thousand thank you’s to super photographer extraordinaire Sarah McEvoy for second shooting.
